Once again, I read C'nS magazine tonight. As soon as I held the magazine, I looked for the page of joke. Yeah, I found it on page 38. On another posting I've ever published before, I wrote the joke with the title of "Ploughing the Land". Meanwhile, on this nice occasion, I'd like to share another one that I consider as another funny joke from this magazine. Here is the story. Enjoy!
The farmer's son was returning from the market with the crate of chickens his father had entrusted to him, when all of a sudden the box fell and broke open.
Chickens scurried off in different directions, but the determined boy walked over the neighborhood scooping up the wayward birds and returning them to the repaired crate.
Hoping he had found them all, the boy reluctantly returned home, expecting the worst.
"Dad, the chickens got loose," the boy confessed sadly, "But I managed to find all twelve of them."
"Well, you did real good, son," the farmer said. "There were actually only seven chickens in the crate."
Yeah. If you get the point of this joke, I'm sure that you're laughing now. lol. A dictionary may be needed if you need some vocabulary reinforcement to understand it. Thanks' for reading, guys!
